Overview
Sigma Quad is a fully assembled development platform that combines the Sigma2 Autopilot with the NVIDIA Jetson AI supercomputer, GPS, compass, airframe, ESCs, motors, transmitter, and receiver. Its onboard computers control navigation, attitude, and communications in flight while sending real-time telemetry and video output over the Wi-Fi network and receiving control inputs over the RF channel. It utilizes onboard sensors and dedicated control algorithms to flight autonomously based on the user control commands.

Sigma Quad can meet the user needs for a safe and reliable flight experience, high precision navigation and smart features that make capturing and streaming high definition video for a powerful and agile drone. It will also meet the user needs for reduced-task-load in performing these operations.

Capabilities
COLLISION AVOIDANCE
Sigma Quad has built-in LiDAR, RADAR and 3D Stereo Camera system to prevent ground collision in complex environments at high speeds. Advanced algorithms utilize data from barometric air pressure sensor, accelerometers, gyros and GPS to allow for precise and accurate response to stay away from existing infrastructure, trees, buildings and other obstacles on the flight path.
PRECISE NAVIGATION & INTELLIGENT TRACKING
Sigma Quad is packed with multiple sensors for accurate position and real-time motion sensing. It’s GPS data is fused with readings from 9-axis IMU sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer) and barometric pressure sensor in real-time. The combination of unique motion prediction technology and intelligent follow algorithms designed for high-precision tracking in the most challenging elements.
IOT ENABLED TECHNOLOGY
Sigma Quad can provide onboard sensor data to IoT cloud services (Mathworks ThingSpeak, IBM Watson IoT, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Intel IoT Analytics, etc.) for visualisation and data analytics.
